The entrepreneurial ecosystem of Barcelona will organize the Tech Spirit Barcelona entrepreneurship conference
Barcelona, February 14, 2020 – The board of Barcelona Tech City alongside the City of Barcelona, the Catalan government, MWCapital Foundation and several other institutions from startup community agreed this evening in a meeting celebrated in the Estrella Damm space of Pier 01, to urgently implement a series of activities and business promotion conferences to be held on February 24, 25 and 26.
These entrepreneurial days, open to the local and international ecosystem, will be focused on networking events among entrepreneurs together with international investment funds who will be visiting Barcelona over these days. Other activities will also be set up to promote the exchange of startups with these international investment funds.The days will be called Tech Spirit Barcelona, as they were established by startups and through the initiative of the entrepreneurs involved. The days aim to give the opportunity for these startups to meet new clients and investors to help drive their growth.
Miguel Vicente, Chairman of Barcelona Tech City, said: “This impromptu initiative came about from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and has been warmly welcomed by all the parties involved. The initiative shows their proactive stance, and solidarity and strength of the Barcelona tech ecosystem.”
A large number of institutions, businesses and startups will collaborate in these days, open to the local and international ecosystem, once again underlining the unity among the Barcelona tech community.
