February 21st, 2020-. Tech Spirit Barcelona, the initiative that emerged spontaneously after the cancellation of 4YFN and the Mobile World Congress (MWC), exceeds 4,000 registered and will have key participants as the chef Ferran Adrià, Tatxo Benet from Mediapro and Jerome S. Engel, professor at the Berkeley University; among more than 60 national and international speakers and more than 100 venture capital investors that participate in the different events that will be celebrated in Casa Llotja de Mar from La Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona and in other locations around the city.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES FOR PRESS:
Visit to 3D Factory Incubator, the factory of opportunities of the 21st century. 3D Factory Incubator, the first European high-tech incubator in 3D printing. It is an initiative led by the Consortium of the Free Zone of Barcelona (CZFB) and the Leitat Foundation and which has the financial support of Feder funds through the Incyde de les Cambres de Comerç Foundation.
Visit to Pier01 of Barcelona Tech City. The Association launched the Pier01 project in 2016 with the aim of becoming a reference technological space in Europe. Located in Palau de Mar (La Barceloneta), in its almost 11,000 square meters groups 100 companies and startups with more than 1,000 professionals. Forbes magazine points it as one of the six most innovative hubs in the world.
About Tech Spirit Barcelona
Tech Spirit Barcelona is an initiative that emerged spontaneously as an answer after 4YFN and Mobile World Congress were cancelled. The event, free of charge, will be held from February 23rd until 27th and will feature 45 activities of the Llotja de Mar de la Cambra de Comerç Barcelona, 108 events throughtout the city, about 60 national and international speakers and more than 100 venture capital investors.
Tech Spirit is an inclusive, transversal movement that intends to put all the energy that bursts in the city during a whole week dedicated for the digital and technological entrepreneurial ecosystem. With this objective, a completely new proposal has been articulated with a central program of activities that have as a scenario the Llotja de Mar building, and that also incorporates proposals created by other organizations, in the spaces of Pier01 or Pier03 and in others spaces that will be given visibility through the agenda on Tech Spirit Barcelona website: https://techspirit.barcelona/
Among 60 international and national speakers will be part of it, they are: Chef Ferran Adrià, representatives of Glovo, Holaluz, eDreams and TravelPerk, ImaginBank of La Caixa, Airbnb, Uber, Seat, Telefónica and InnoCells from Banco Sabadell.
The organization is coordinated by Barcelona Tech City together with the Barcelona City Council, the Generalitat de Catalunya, Government of Spain, Mobile World Capital Barcelona, Consorci de la Zona Franca, Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona, and other institutions related to the sector.
The initiative, which will happen only this year, is led by Barcelona Tech City and has the support of Telefónica, CaixaBank, Banco Sabadell, Acciona, Sorigé, DWF-RCD, Social Point, Meetmaps, Watchity as well as Llorente y Cuenca (LLYC ), Mortensen, McCann and El Palauet.
